Early Childhood Summer Program
Designed for Children Ages 3-5
Our Early Childhood Summer Program offers the perfect blend of learning and fun for our youngest campers. The program is divided into eight weeks, with each themed week featuring engaging, developmentally appropriate activities such as circle time, weather exploration, music, early math and literacy, writing practice, and hands‑on arts and crafts.
Campers will also enjoy local field trips, special guest visitors, and plenty of outdoor play, making each day active, joyful, and full of discovery.
Designed for children ages 3–5 who have not yet completed a Kindergarten program, this camp provides a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and early academic readiness. All campers must be fully potty-trained before attending.
Families can choose between a half-day morning session or a full-day option:
- Half-Day (Morning): 9:00 AM - 12:30
- Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
- Full-Day Camp: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
*Afternoons include a 30-minute rest period.
Session One: June 15-June 26
Week A Summer Sprouts: Welcome summer with a camp designed especially for our youngest explorers. Through outdoor time on walks and free play story time, crafts, and STEM activities based in play, campers will strengthen fine and gross motor skills, positive literacy habits, creativity and imagination, and develop problem solving and critical thinking skills–all while developing socially through collaboration with peers. This makes for a joyful summer experience.
Week B Mini Makers Art: Budding artists will explore creativity through hands-on art experiences that build fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and self-expression. Each day introduces a new medium—such as watercolor, clay, collage, or simple sculpture—using child-friendly tools to develop coordination, confidence, and early design thinking. Through painting, building, and mixed-media exploration, campers strengthen focus, practice decision-making and problem-solving, and learn to share ideas with peers, finishing the week with a collection of unique, joyful masterpieces that showcase their growing creativity and independence.
Session Two: June 29-July 10
Week A Little Time Travelers: Our youngest explorers will journey through time with playful, hands-on activities that introduce America’s past. Through crafts, dress-up, songs, stories, and imaginative play, campers build curiosity about history and cultural diversity, strengthen language and listening skills, and develop creativity and fine motor control. Cooperative games support social development, while role-play encourages problem-solving and creative thinking—making history fun, gentle, and engaging for little learners.
Week B Tiny City Builders: Our youngest campers will explore what makes a city special through hands-on play, stories, songs, and creative activities. With visits from members of the community such as firemen, elected officials, artists, and business owners, campers learn about community roles and civil service while building language and listening skills. Throughout the week, campers will create a micro-town, complete with pretend shops and businesses that encourage collaboration, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, environmental awareness, and problem-solving skills.
Session Three: July 13-July 24
Week A Backyard Buddies: Get ready for a week of animal‑themed fun made just for our youngest nature lovers. Each day, Backyard Buddies discover a new habitat—sky, sea, forest, desert, and even their own backyard—through simple games, sensory play, songs, stories, and creative crafts. Campers will build curiosity about animals and their habitats, develop observation skills through nature play, and strengthen language and listening skills with songs and stories. They’ll practice creativity and fine motor skills through animal‑inspired art, explore movement and coordination with playful animal actions, and learn early science concepts like camouflage and adaptation through hands‑on activities. With outdoor time and imaginative adventures, the animal kingdom comes to life in a way that’s exciting, gentle, and just right for curious little campers.
Week B Pre-K Olympics: We can’t watch the Olympics this summer but this playful camp introduces campers to the excitement of the Olympic Games through simple movement activities, teamwork games, music, and imaginative play. Campers will develop gross motor skills through running, jumping, and tossing, practice coordination and balance with age‑friendly sports, and build social skills like cooperation and turn‑taking through team games. Our silly sports will make it Olympic-sized fun!
Session Four: July 27-August 7
Week A Mighty Stars: Our tiniest performers will shine bright in this fun and gentle introduction to theatre. Campers will sing simple songs, learn easy dance moves, dress up in playful costumes, and act out short stories together. They’ll develop confidence and self-expression through performance, practice listening and rhythm with music and movement, and strengthen creativity and imagination through dress-up and storytelling. Campers will also build fine motor skills and teamwork while creating colorful props and scenery using age-friendly materials. At the end of the week, families are invited to enjoy a performance where every Small & Mighty Star gets a moment to sparkle.
Week B Curious Kids Science: Our youngest scientists will dive into a playful week of hands‑on discovery. Budding chemists will create colorful “potions,” watch simple reactions, and build early safety awareness. They will develop observation and prediction skills through simple reactions, and explore cause-and-effect thinking while experimenting with materials. Campers will discover basic physics concepts by building with blocks, testing ramps, rolling balls, and trying fun motion challenges, all while strengthening problem-solving, creativity, and fine motor skills. This camp is perfect for little hands and large imaginations.
